About Me
I am a history educator and Early American historian specializing in New England. I teach a variety of courses in United States history, world history, and advanced seminar courses, including Advanced Placement European History. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History from New England College with high honors.
In 2026, I was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of American History award from the Daughters of the American Revolution. My teaching emphasizes historical inquiry, primary source analysis, empathy, and civic responsibility. This encourages students to engage critically with the past while developing a deeper understanding of democratic values and institutions. Since 2022, I’ve served with the TRIO Upward Bound Program at the University of New Hampshire, where I support first generation and underrepresented students through academic research instruction, mentorship, and college preparation. My commitment to expanding educational access is a central component of his professional work.
I am an active writer of both nonfiction and fiction of whose historical essays, reviews, commentary, and short stories have appeared in regional and national publications. I published my first book, Petition for Return in 2025. I live with my wife, Keyanna, in Dover, New Hampshire.
