About Ethan Healey

Ethan P. Healey is a history educator and Early American historian specializing in New England. Ethan teaches United States history, world history, and advanced seminar courses, including Advanced PlacementEuropean History. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from New England College with high honors.

In 2026, Ethan was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of American History award from the Daughters of the American Revolution. His teaching emphasizes historical inquiry, primary source analysis, empathy, and civic responsibility. This encourages students to engage critically with the past while developing a deeper understanding of democratic values and institutions. Ethan serves with the TRIO Upward Bound Program at the University of New Hampshire, where he supports first generation and underrepresented students through academic research instruction, mentorship, and college preparation.
